Rugby Defeats Fort Hunt in Physical Match

"The forwards did an excellent job," an excited Head Coach Peter Baggetta told Goff Rugby Report. "They took over the game."  The varsity purple rugby Eagles beat Ft. Hunt 33-12 in a physically intense game on Saturday, March 2 on Buchanan Field. Captain John O’Toole '19 led the way with two tries. Tries were also scored by captain Joe Royston '19, number-eight John Thompson '19, and wing George Kucik '20. Scrum half Gordie McMillen '19 put the ball through for four successful conversions.

Next up for the Eagles is a night game vs Good Counsel on Buchanan Field on Thursday, March 7.  The match will kickoff at 7 PM.
