Swim & Dive Prepares for Championship Season to Begin

This time of year, late January and February, has regularly seen Gonzaga swimmers and divers celebrating in the pool after winning titles. And it looks as though this year's team is on pace to continue that trend. On January 15, the swimming and diving Eagles improved their record to 11-2 overall with victories over Georgetown Day 78-22 , Maret 87-2, and St. Andrew's 87-8. 

Coach Maloney's team now looks forward to the final four competitions of their 2018-2019 schedule, beginning this weekend at the Catholic Nationals.  Here is the remaining schedule:

• Catholic Nationals at Loyola University - Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20
• WMPSSDL Championships at Fairland Sports and Aquatics Center - Saturday, February 2
• Easterns Championships at Franklin & Marshall College - Friday, February 15
• WCAC Championships at University of Maryland - Sunday, February 24
