    Gonzaga clubs and teams hold bake sales in order to raise money for their groups. Bake sale are usually up and running by 7:30 am and continue until the end of 6th period lunch.  If you are contributing to a bake sale you do not need to send in homemade items, you can purchase your baked goods at any store.

    Dooley Hall - Campus Ministry Office
    McKenna's Wagon is a mobile soup kitchen that departs daily from Martha's Table, near U Street, and serves the homeless.  A Gonzaga group goes out every Wednesday evening as part of this program. Each week, we take 3 sophomores. Click here to sign up online through the Mobileserve App (this is the only way to sign up).

  • The Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic

    The Courses at Andrews Air Force Base, 4442 W Perimeter Rd, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762
    Held every spring, the Eric S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic is a golf tournament that celebrates the life of United States Navy SEAL Erik Kristensen ’90, and raises funds for a scholarship that benefits Gonzaga students from military families. The Klassic takes place at Andrews Air Force Base and is followed by an awards dinner. The twelfth annual Erik S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic will be held on Friday, May 3, 2018.

    GMC volunteers prepare a home-cooked breakfast for the Faculty and Staff to thank them for all they do, on the first Friday of each month. 

    Please arrive by 6:15 am in the Lower Commons. Service begins at 7:00 am and everything is done and clean up by 9:00 am.
  • Ignatian Reflection & Prayer Group

    Dooley Hall - Jesuit Dining Room - -
    The Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group consists of Gonzaga moms and female guardians who gather monthly to explore the Ignatian spirituality at the heart of their sons’ education, and reflect on how to put it into practice in their own lives.
    They seek to deepen their faith by reading and discussing relevant essays and books, participating in Masses and retreats, and participating in guided reflections combined with a variety of Ignatian forms of prayer.

    Students who have signed up to take the SAT at Gonzaga should bring their picture ID and admittance tickets.  They cannot take the test without these items.  

    Students should also bring the following (none of these will be provided by the school):
    -calculator 
    -number two pencils
    -water and snacks for during breaks

    Students will be admitted beginning at 7:45AM and will not be admitted after 8:10AM.

    Onyx Alumni Association Meeting

    The Onyx Alumni Association of Gonzaga College High School  is a division of the Gonzaga Alumni Association which is dedicated to supporting and promoting diversity at Gonzaga College High School and within its community, seeks to broaden and strengthen the connections of Alumni.  Those connection serve to support current, prospective and future minorities who are committed to successfully matriculating and graduating from Gonzaga.

    Onyx Alumni Association meetings give Gonzaga minority alumni the chance to hear up-to-the-minute information about what's going on at Gonzaga, from school club activities to sporting events, and other activities occurring within the school. Meetings begin with fellowship and dinner at 6:00 pm and at 6:30 pm the meeting is called to order. Meetings are open to all alumni of Gonzaga.

    Mother's Day Flowers

    In support of our neighbors at Unique Residential Center, Gonzaga students will take time in their Religion classes to share flowers and good Mothers Day wishes with Unique's female residents leading up to Mothers Day. Students are asked to bring in flowers on May 9th.  Your support is greatly appreciated in brightening the day of some of the school's neighbors.

    Sheehy Theater
    The College Counseling team is organizing Gonzaga's First Annual Athletic Information night. The event will take place on Thursday, May 9 from 7pm-8:30pm in the Sheehy Theater on Gonzaga's campus.

    Come and hear about the recruitment process for athletes at all three levels. The event will also provide a question and answer period as well as a detailed handout.

    Light refreshments will be served.

    Students will perform Music, Poetry, and Comedy on stage. 
    * Cover is $5, all proceeds go to McKenna Center
    * Event is 6:00pm-10:00pm in the newly renovated McKenna Center
     
    It will be a friendly environment where students will try their hand at performance for the entertainment of their friends, and for the betterment of their community through the McKenna Center.

    The eighth annual Festival of One Act Plays will be hekld May 13, 14 and 15 in the Sheehy Theater.  The festival runs for three nights, with a special encore performance of "The Best of the Fest"  on Wednesday night. For the first time, this year's festival is a competition. We have four plays this year written and directed by Ryan Vigilante and Tomas Williamson, Peter Rizzo, Daneil Roginski, and Andrew Wilkerson. 

    All performances begin at 7pm.  Attendance is free, but we ask for a small donation of a can or two of non-perishable goods to benefit the McKenna Center in place of the price of admission.

    Class of '69 Jubilarian Reunion Weekend

    To celebrate their 50th Reunion, alumni from the Class of 1969 are invited to walk in Commencement Exercises on June 2. Their official reunion will take place during graduation weekend, Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2.

    5:30 PM: Tour of School
    6:30 PMPresident's Reception and Dinner.

    8:30 AM: Class of '69 Mass celebrated by Gonzaga President, Father Stephen Planning, SJ, in Our Lady's Chapel.  Mass will be followed by a light breakfast
    10:15 AM: Commencement. The Jubilarians will lead the Class of 2019 into St. Al's to begin the commencement exercises.
