    Gonzaga clubs and teams hold bake sales in order to raise money for their groups. Bake sale are usually up and running by 7:30 am and continue until the end of 6th period lunch.  If you are contributing to a bake sale you do not need to send in homemade items, you can purchase your baked goods at any store.

    Sheehy Theater
    Sophomore parents are invited to attend an evening presentation sponsored by the Counseling Department. This event will begin at 6:30pm in The Sheehy Theater. The Sophomore Class Counselor, will provide information about the upcoming course registration process, general information about the social-emotional development of sophomores, and anxiety/depression in teens. 

    Please join us! Light snacks will be provided.  No RSVP necessary.

    Sheehy Theater
    Athletic Director Joe Reyda '85 organizes a ceremony every February to recognize all of the senior athletes who have committed to play their respective sport in college.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the student athletes to share their appreciation for their parents, coaches, teachers, and teammates.  This year's event will be help in the Sheehy Theater.

    Please encourage your son to participate in this annual whole-school service opportunity! Sizes 4, 5 & 6 are particularly needed. All diapers collected will be donated to the Greater D.C. Diaper Bank which provides a monthly average of 175,000 diapers to over 4,000 D.C. area families. The Founder and Executive Director, Corrine Cannon, is the daughter of Gonzaga's own Rick Cannon and created the Diaper Bank in 2010. This year our goal is 16,000. If every family brings in one pack, we will meet this ambitious goal! Diapers can be dropped off in the Upper Commons and in the rotunda of Ruesch. Please help us with this worthy effort!
  • Ignatian Reflection & Prayer Group

    The Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group consists of Gonzaga moms and female guardians who gather monthly to explore the Ignatian spirituality at the heart of their sons’ education, and reflect on how to put it into practice in their own lives.
    They seek to deepen their faith by reading and discussing relevant essays and books, participating in Masses and retreats, and participating in guided reflections combined with a variety of Ignatian forms of prayer.

    ACT at Gonzaga

    Ruesch Cantwell Classrooms

    Students who have signed up to take the ACT at Gonzaga should bring their picture ID and admittance tickets. They cannot take the test without these items.

    Students should also bring the following (none of these will be provided by the school):
    -calculator
    -number two pencils
    -water and snacks for during breaks

    Students will be admitted beginning at 7:45AM and will not be admitted after 8:10AM.

  • GFC Father-Son Service Project

    St. Frances de Sales Church 2015 Rhode Island Ave, SE Washington, DC 20018
    This annual event provides father, guardians and their sons with an opportunity to demonstrate Gonzaga's mantra of 'Men for Others' to the Washington, D.C. community.  This year the group will be returning to Washington D.C.'s Saint Francis de Sales Church. 

    Go for the morning, and stay for the afternoon!  There will be plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to accommodate an entire day's worth of engagement, and two shifts will be available (8:30-12:00 and 12:30-4:30) with a break in between for a GFC provided pizza lunch!

    Alumni, current and past parents, and friends are invited to the Bull and Oyster Roast, hosted by the Gonzaga Fathers Club from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The evening will feature a live band, dinner, and dancing! Full bars will also be available, serving a wide array of refreshments.

    Seating is open, however reserved tables of ten can be purchased. For more information on volunteering with the GFC for this event please contact Paul Mavris

    1:30-2:00 - Juniors
    2:00-2:30 - Sophomores
    2:30 – 3:00 – Freshmen
     
    -If your son has not already informed Coach Baggetta that he is playing rugby this spring, your son should contact him ASAP. 
    -If you do not receive the Rugby Booster emails, please contact Erika Keough to get on the email list.
    -ALL PLAYERS MUST COME TO GONZAGA IN PERSON TO REGISTER!  
    -Gear will be distributed at registration. 
    -We will need about 20 to 30 parents to help run the registration.  A Sign Up Genius will be sent out at a later date.
    -For those of you who are new to Rugby, there will be a Rugby 101 discussion session at 1:30 pm.

    Children's National Medical Center Bloodmobile Van will be on site for eligible junior, seniors and faculty.  

    Please remember, ALL donors:
    1. Should eat breakfast/lunch prior to blood donation and present photo ID (driver’s license, passport, college/school ID with a picture) at time of donation.
    2. Should drink at least 16 ounces of water prior to coming to donate.
    3. Must be free of cold and cold-like symptoms for at the least (3) days prior to donation.

  • Onyx Alumni Association Meeting

    The Onyx Alumni Association of Gonzaga College High School  is a division of the Gonzaga Alumni Association which is dedicated to supporting and promoting diversity at Gonzaga College High School and within its community, seeks to broaden and strengthen the connections of Alumni.  Those connection serve to support current, prospective and future minorities who are committed to successfully matriculating and graduating from Gonzaga.

    Onyx Alumni Association meetings give Gonzaga minority alumni the chance to hear up-to-the-minute information about what's going on at Gonzaga, from school club activities to sporting events, and other activities occurring within the school. Meetings begin with fellowship and dinner at 
    6:00 pm and at 6:30 pm the meeting is called to order. Meetings are open to all alumni of Gonzaga.
