The Geordan Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to honor Geordan Glasgow Harris, who gained his "eagles wings" too early after a fatal motorcycle crash in July 2013. Geordan was a 2003 graduate of Gonzaga College High School, a brotherhood that continues to run much deeper than just a diploma.
Geordan embodied his alma mater's motto of "Men for Others" as shown through his passion for his work, his family and friends, and his philanthropy. To remember his spirit and passion, his family, friends, and colleagues established a scholarship fund that allows Geordan's legacy and connection to Gonzaga to continue through others.
The Geordan Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide, not only tuition to Gonzaga for a
student in need of financial assistance, but also a paid summer internship. The deserving
candidate will exhibit a commitment to achieve and a charismatic personality as Geordan did,
and will receive an education which otherwise might not be possible.
