Student Services

--Juniors and Seniors interested in attending Prom must register online, using the Google Form sent to your Gonzaga e-mail, and purchase tickets before April 26, tomorrow.  Tickets go on sale this week during lunch periods and after school in Student Services. A signed Prom contract is due at the Mandatory Pre-Prom meetings to be held this WEDNESDAY - April 26 - for seniors immediately after school and THURSDAY - April 27 - for juniors also immediately after school in the Sheehy theater.

--Rising seniors - class of 2018 - interested in parking in Gonzaga's garage next year should be on the lookout for a Google Form which serves as your parking lottery entry.  The form will be available via Canvas.  There is a hard shut- down date in mid-May for the lottery and results are communicated in early summer.

Campus Ministry



-Attention anyone who would like to participate in the school liturgy Mr. Green is in need of 2 Altar servers, and  1 reader for mass this Wednesday, April 26th. Please stop by Campus Ministry if you are interested.

Juniors, Campus Ministry needs your help! There are plenty of spots open for today's Food and Friends lunchtime service. If you are willing to give time during your 4th or 5th period lunch to serve some of our neighbors it would be greatly appreciated. Please sign up in the Campus Ministry Lounge ASAP.

Those Seniors who are going to Ireland in June will be having small group lunch discussions this week on Tues. Wed. and Friday.  Please consult the Irish Trip poster board in the cafeteria for the time and place of your lunch meeting.

oung Poets to Young Poets who are going to Malcolm X Elementary School on Thursday have a brief meeting today at 3pm in Kohlmann Hall, Room 22. This will be our final preparation meeting for Thursday's trip.

The Library will be CLOSING this Friday at 2:00 PM and will REMAIN CLOSED for the next 2 weeks for AP exams.  The library will re-open beginning May 15.  All library books are due back by May 12.   


District Rico is 15% for all students and faculty on Friday, April 28th! Also, be sure to pick up a new District Rico loyalty card while you're there!

St. Mary Catholic Church in Old Town Alexandria is seeking camp counselors for the middle school Camp Apostles this summer. If you would be interested in serving as a counselor, see Mr. Szolosi who has more information.

The Support our Troops club is putting together a list of family members of our community who are currently serving or have served in the military  in order to recognize their service and pray for them. If you would like your family member to be included, please email their information, name, branch of service and if they are currently serving or are retired to Mr. Furnary at gfurnary@gonzaga.org. If you have any questions ask Mr. Furnary or Mrs. Metcalf


The Unity Club will meet this Wednesday at 7:40 am in Rm 226, all are welcomed.


There will be a very  brief Campus Kitchen meeting in the McKenna Center kitchen IMMEDIATELY after school on Tuesday.  All Campus Kitchen volunteers should be there.


The French Club will be holding its final meeting of the year this Wednesday during community period. There will be 2 dozen chocolate croissants. We will also be holding elections for next year's presidents. Peter Cashmere is currently leading the polls, yet many say he is the Marine Le Pen of French Club. Will your vote be the one to bust the ballot? Be there on Wednesday!


There will be a Book Club meeting tomorrow morning before school for all those who read the book "An Ember in the Ashes."  Come early for breakfast!
