-Robert Walker and Andrew Richard -- please see Ms. Tobin in the Library to pick up your ID cards.
-Any Maryland or DC residents interested in taking driver's ed please see Mr. Beckett in Student Services.
-Metro passes are in, please see Mr. Beckett in the cafeteria during your lunch period.
-Homeroom pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 9. Your homeroom teacher has the schedule and schedules are posted around school. Please be on time for your photo, and please know that you are allowed to miss class for only the time it takes to have the photo made.
--Beginning Monday, September 13th, all seniors need to visit the Headmaster's Office in Dooley Hall to confirm their full names for Graduation ordering. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we look forward to your visit.
-These seniors have volunteered their time to help prepare food for Campus Kitchen TODAY: Robert Kock, Reese Cassard, Sam LaPaille, Matthew Griffin and Conor O'Brien. Matthew Griffin, Geoffrey Harrison, Tom Lavin, Ian White and Christian Salcedo will be assisting with the delivery on Friday.

-Juniors!! Your class service outreach, Food & Friends, will begin next Tuesday, Sept. 14 during lunch times. Volunteer sign up list is now posted outside Sr. Seton's office - K 21. Be the first to sign up!!
-Sophomores!! Your class servic, outreach, McKenna's Wagon, will begin next Wednesday, Sept. 15 from 4:20-7pm. Volunteer sign up list is now available on the "McKenna's Wagon" bulletin board, 2nd floor of Kolmann, just outside the Service Program offices. Any questions? Please see Sister Seton or Mr. Szolosi.
-The due date for applications to the Campus Kitchen Leadership Team has been extended until this Friday, September 11.
Please turn in all applications to Kohlman Hall 24 by the end of 8th period on Friday.

-All Juniors and Seniors: Now that you're in full gear...stop by Campus Ministry and pick up your Retreat Permission Forms. Juniors: You have the over-night Choices Retreat. The first one is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM on Monday, Sept. 20th and return on Tuesday at the end of the school day. DEADLINE for permission forms is MONDAY, September 13th. No time to waste!! Seniors: The Kairos Retreats are beginning to fill up. Kairos CVIII and CIX in Oct. and Nov. are reserved for the class of 2011. Yes seniors....that's YOU!! Don't be left out of this incredible experience. Pick up your permission form and return it right away. That way you'll get the one of your choice.
- A Reminder that the Gonzaga- Visitation Picnic will take place this Sunday at Visitiation from 10 am to 2 pm.
-Gonzaga's Ski and Snowboard Club is planning its winter trip to Colorado. Mr. Davis is accepting names of those interested in this year's trip. If interested, please go to Mr. Davis' classroom (room 307) and sign up anytime today. There is no obligation at this time. You are simply expressing interest and voting on the dates of the trip. Sign up today so your vote is counted.
-Attention all Freshmen and Novice Rowers: Practice will be held TODAY at 4:00PM on the top floor of Kohlmann Hall in the erg room right next to the English Classroom K32.
-The Phoenix is Gonzaga's annual arts and literature review. Published at the end of each academic year it features the work of Gonzaga student authors and artists. If you would like to work on the Phoenix this year, or would like more information about submitting your work, please attend our first meeting on Tuesday, September 14th, at 2:45 in Cantwell 107 with Dr. Rissetto.
-If you are interested in writing for the September issue of The Aquilian please bring your ideas to a brief meeting today immediately after school in the Aquilian Office, K-14.
-Are you interested in environmental issues? Are you passionate about human rights? Do you want to be a part of Gonzaga's music scene? Then FUSE is the place for you! Come to our first meeting of the year at the circular bench in the courtyard on Thursday September 9 right after school if you are interested in joining or if you just want to see what we are all about. Everyone, especially underclassman, are encouraged to come.
-"Registrations are still being accepted for the first class of Beginning 1 Olympic Sport Fencing. Class starts Monday 9/13 at 3 PM in the Lower Commons. Please download the permission form and the guidelines from the Fencing Club page or get them from Sra. Nierman."
-Freshman are still permitted to join the cross country team this week. Please see one of the coaches or come to practice after school if you are interested.
-The varsity soccer team lost a heartbreaker to deMatha last night 2-1. Senior Jacob Berman scored his first Varsity goal off of a great cross by Team Captain Joey Wilkins. Sophomore Ryan Massy played outstanding in goal for the Eagles. Thanks to the Gonzaga fans. They definitely outclassed the visiting Fans. The JV team remained undefeated with a 3-1 victory of the visiting Stags.
